The Kfi Team hosted its March community service event yesterday with Mt. Saint Vincent Home. We brought in a lego instructor and millions of legos and the kids had a blast – especially our own little Danny Kugel. After a warm-up period where the kids built towers and pyramids, we moved into the serious stuff. The instructor showed each of the 15 kids from MSV home (and Daniel) how to build a motorized race car that was remote controlled. The party wrapped up with the kids driving their cars for a bit and then we enjoyed a little league style dinner buffet with several varieties of deeply fried food. A big thank you to our stellar event coordinator, Heather, for organizing the party for us.
