Audit & Attest Services

Delivering the greatest value possible to our clients.

Audit and attest services can help companies make important business decisions and provide risk and compliance information to customers, clients, and stakeholders. Audit and attest services from a third-party organization provide an unbiased perspective to gather information and help you and your business mitigate risk and identify opportunities.

Our audit and attest services are backed by over forty hours of specific audit training per year per staff member, Board of Accountancy continuing education compliance in all states where we practice, the AICPA Peer Review Program, and active membership in the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

Our experienced CPAs can help with many of your business audit needs and provide clarity and support regarding the complex language and requirements of audit and reporting methods. We offer a variety of comprehensive audit services and can work with your business to determine what service fits your needs.

Our Audit & Attest services include:

Financial Statement Audits

Our CPAs provide an independent overview of relevant financial information to provide a fiscal overview for your business or organization. A financial audit provides the most thorough assurance that your organization’s financial statements are accurate and complete.

Financial Statement Compilations and Reviews

Financial compilations provide an overview of an organization’s financial information. A financial statement compilation provides less assurance of accuracy than a financial statement review or audit, which are more comprehensive. A financial statement review offers more assurance than a compilation, but requires less preparation and documentation than a full financial statement audit.

Employee Benefit Plan Audits

We perform audits of defined benefit, 401(k) plans and defined contribution, and health and welfare plans. Our audits generally include tests of investments, contributions to the plan and related receivables, benefit payments from the plan and related payables, participant data and plan obligations. An employee benefit plan audit helps ensure plans are following provisions set forth by the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

SOC Reporting for Service Organizations

SOC reports allow service providers to establish their reliability and credibility by auditing various services including security, privacy, confidentiality, and data management. These reports help to outline any potential risks customers or partners might encounter when considering working with a service organization. Our CPAs help business management understand related risks with all three SOC report types (SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3). Our experienced CPAs are able to help clients define their control objectives and document their control activities in order to stream-line the examination process.

SSAE #18 Examinations and Agreed Upon Procedures

K Financial follows generally accepted auditing standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. SSAE #18 establishes three standards for reporting quality with financial reporting: examination, review, and agreed-upon procedures.
