On June 4, 2012, the K Financial Foundation hosted another fun event at the Kidney Center in the Children’s Hospital. We brought in many different varieties and colors of art clay and helped the kids have a little fun while they were getting their dialysis treatment. The kids generally come in 3 days a week for 4 hour dialysis sessions until a kidney donor is identified. One of the best creations of the day was a blue giraffe, that transitioned into a sea monster and then finally into a fire breathing dragon. We also held a competition to see who could make the best Sponge Bob. After the arts and crafts, we hosted a bingo competition and awarded prizes to all of the kids. Everyone was a winner!
