Thanksgiving celebration at The Spot

The K Financial Foundation sponsored another successful event at The Spot. We served up our regular menu of breakfast burritos, fruit and juice. We also delivered 10 bags of supplies to The Spot from their wishlist, including hoodies, socks, chapstick, deodorant, toothbrushes and lotion and we provided a gift certificate for a Thanksgiving turkey.
One of the best parts of our mornings at The Spot is the great conversations we have with our customers. There was an interesting gentleman at our Thanksgiving event who is an architect. He showed us the detailed blueprints for the cardboard Winnebago camper he is working on. Once completed, he will be able to pull it with his bike, park it in prime locations around town and it should sleep 2 people comfortably.
